PADICAT (Digital Heritage of Catalonia) is an initiative of the Biblioteca de Catalunya to capture, preserve and distribute the web archive of Catalonia.

The Biblioteca de Catalunya, which is responsible for compiling, processing and distributing the bibliographic heritage of Catalonia, and by extension the digital heritage, has technological collaboration of the Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya (CSUC) for preserving and giving access to old versions of web pages published on the Internet, since 2005.
