Biblioteca de Catalunya coordinates PADICAT.

Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya (CSUC) is the technologic collaborator of the repository.

The Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan government, is the repository sponsor, as a part of policies of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge.

The Fundació puntCAT gives support to PADICAT, in order to promote Catalan language and culture at the Internet and new information technologies contexts.

The International Internet Preservation Consortium, of which the Biblioteca de Catalunya is a member, aims acquire, preserve, and made accessible the knowledge and Internet information for  future generations around the world, promoting global exchanging and International relationships.

About 500 Catalan entities of all kinds: universities and research centers, public administrations, companies, professional colleges, political parties and labor unions, museums and cultural societies, sport clubs and social associations have signed cooperation agreements with BC to preserve their digital heritage.

International communities are essential for a proper functioning of the system which supports PADICAT repository and its open source software: Heritrix, NucthWax, Wera, Web Curator, and Wayback.
